Alston Murphy Associates Ltd prior to the merger with Acanthus Darbyshire Architects were privileged to have been involved in building of a new Gurdwara providing a cultural socio-religious base for Sikh community in Newcastle.

The Gurdwara provides an open, easy and free means for the Sikh community in the area to engage in their religious and cultural heritage. It also hosts educational visits and is welcoming to anyone who wants to find out more about the Sikh religion and culture.
